Kailyn Lowry Says ‘No More Babies Until There’s a Ring on My Finger’ After Joking She’s Pregnant With a Girl

On Sunday, October 20, one fan tweeted, “Had a dream that @KailLowry was pregnant with another boy,” referring to her three sons.

The 27-year-old couldn’t help but respond. “It’s a girl. Just kidding,” she quipped.

Put a Ring on It

Despite mothering three children with three different men, the blonde beauty made it clear that she is not ready for a fourth child just yet. “No more babies until there’s a ring on my finger,” she wrote.

Naturally, some fans admired Kail’s statement. One person wrote, “Don’t sell yourself short, babe. You wait until those papers are signed with no expectation other than your love,” while another echoed, “Marriage is overrated, and the ceremony means more than fighting for the relationship nowadays. All you need is a loyal man (a passive one).”

Hoping for the Best

Some of Kail’s followers hoped to see the MTV personality have a daughter in the future. “We can hope only it’s a girl next!!” one person wrote. A second chimed in, writing, “I would LOVEEEEE to see a mini Kail.”

Bring on the Babies!

Kailyn has been candid about expanding her family in the past. “Yeah, I definitely want more kids. I would love to have girls,” she said during a sitdown with the hosts of Studology 101 in February.

Even though the mom of three doesn’t have a special someone in her life at the moment, she knows everything will fall into place. “How will it happen, I don’t know, but we will figure it out I guess,” she said.

The reality starlet explained that she wants to take matters into her own hands if she has a fourth child. “I think I would do gender selection,” she admitted. “I got three boys, that’s enough!”

“It’s time for me to have a girl,” she added. “I always wanted boys, but now that I have three, and I didn’t find out what I was having for any of them, I’ve had enough surprises. We got three boys, now I want a girl.”

Secret Pact

In May 2018, Kailyn and her Teen Mom 2 costar Chelsea Houska joked about getting knocked up during the same time period. “I think we should make a pact that you and Cole [DeBoer] and I … will get pregnant together at the same time,” Kailyn told Chelsea during her “Coffee Convos” podcast. “That would be cute. You know how [Nicole] “Snooki [Polizzi] and [Jenni] “JWoww” [Farley] did their little show on MTV? Ours could be about our pregnancy.”

During the season, Kailyn revealed she “already started looking at banks.”

The Pennsylvania native also is looking for a specific type of man. “Tall, dark and handsome,” she said. “Maybe a PhD.”

Meanwhile, Kailyn is dealing with some drama with Chris. During the recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn shared that Chris wants their son, Lux, to appear less on the show.

“Chris does not want the baby to be filmed, and he’s coming to get the baby and will bring the baby back when it’s done,” Kailyn said after Chris texted her. “I want to show my life with all three of my kids, not just the older two,” she explained. Ultimately, the book author decided to compromise and not film Lux if Chris asked her not to.
