Kailyn Lowry Discusses the Possibility of Having a Daughter (EXCLUSIVE)
She’s outnumbered, but it might not be that way forever! Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry exclusively opened up to In Touch about having a daughter — and we have to be honest, her comments definitely took us by surprise.
“I think I would want to have one, but I’m not dead set on trying to have one. Does that make sense? If it happens, then whatever, but I’m not actively trying or anything,” she said during a Facebook Live. Kail is a proud mother of boys — Isaac [from her relationship with Jo Rivera], Lincoln [from her relationship with Javi Marroquin], and her newborn, “Baby Lo,” with Chris Lopez.
Kail also took us inside the day she birthed her third child. As fans know, the blonde beauty opted to wait until this moment to find out the baby’s gender. “I kind of, maybe thought it was going to be a boy. [I was] surprised [and] happy,” she recalled. “I cried. I saw how much hair he had, and my arm was in the way so I couldn’t see what it was and they were like, ‘Do you want to know what it is?’ I was like, ‘Yeah!’ It was great.”
As far as adjusting to life as a mother-of-three, which the MTV star makes look so easy, Kail admitted that she’s “trying to figure out time management, trying to figure out when I’m gonna sleep if I’ll ever sleep again.” Thankfully, she explained, Chris has been a really big help.
“He’s very hands-on and he kind of just picked up on it right away,” she said. “I didn’t have to help him hold the baby, he kind of just knew. Same thing with diaper changing and stuff — I’ve never seen him work with babies before but he kind of just knew what to do.”
