Justin Duggar and Claire Spivey's Photos: See the 'Counting On' Couple

He’s all grown up! Counting On star Justin Duggar joined Instagram in September 2020 and revealed he was courting Claire Spivey. Anyone who follows the Duggars knows they don’t just date for fun, so it wasn’t long before the lovebirds took the romance to the next level and got engaged!

Justin first announced his exciting new relationship on September 21. “What a year this has been! God has done so much in my life, and the biggest blessing has been the gift of Claire,” he wrote beside a slideshow of cuddly pictures with his new love. “She is more precious than anything I could ever ask for, and I’m so excited about our future together!”

Claire seemed just as thrilled to take her relationship with Justin public. “Words will never express the depth of my love and admiration for this amazing man!” she wrote, adding that he’s the “most tenderhearted person” she knows. “Every moment spent with him is treasured. I’m so thankful for the man of God that he is. Whether we are in person, or long distance, he cherishes and loves me unconditionally. His example to me and all he meets, is unlike any other. I am the most blessed woman on earth to be in a relationship [with] you. I’ll love you forever.”

While fans just recently learned of the young couple’s romance, they were secretly courting for quite some time. Photos posted by Justin and his sister-in-law Anna Duggar prove he’s been dating Claire since at least Christmas 2019, as they posed in holiday pajamas and in front of a Christmas tree. Justin’s mom, Michelle, and dad Jim Bob seemed to confirm that timeline in their own congratulations message.

“When Justin couldn’t stop talking about what a great girl Claire was, we knew it was only a matter of time before he would make it official,” they wrote. “We have loved getting to know Claire and her family better over the last year, and we think the world of them!”

With their whirlwind romance, it wasn’t long before fans started speculating that the two might make their relationship more official before the end of the year — and they were right! On November 16, 2020, Justin and Claire announced their engagement after more than a year of courting.

“There is nothing comparable to finding the one you are meant to spend your life with,” the young couple told Us Weekly on Monday, November 16. “We know we have found that in each other. We cannot wait to be married and are looking forward to a life together of faith in Christ, love for one another and happiness!”

By February 2021, they were married, and in September, they bought a house in Texas. Congrats!

She helped nurse her man back to health after he got his wisdom teeth taken out. “How I enjoyed getting to take care of this guy after his wisdom teeth surgery!!” Claire wrote via Instagram in January 2021. “He is such a trooper, and has had a wonderful recovery! Thankful for every moment with him, even when it’s changing ice packs and giving meds. ;)”

Jim Bob and Michelle defended their son and future daughter-in-law after a troll said Justin should be “in college” and “dating around.”

“So far, our children have gotten married between the ages of 19-28. We always leave the decision of when to get married up to them as adults!” they clapped back in the now-deleted message. “We are so grateful for each of the Godly spouses they have chosen, and we are excited to cheer each of them on in life and in love!”
