Did you catch that? Justin Bieber lip-synched ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s name in the music video for Drake and DJ Khaled‘s collaboration, “Popstar,” which premiered on Friday, September 4.

In the clip, the “Yummy” singer wakes up in a mansion in the middle of a party, walks downstairs with a bottle of champagne and raps Drake’s lyrics, including one about Justin’s former flame.

“You would probably think my manager was Scooter Braun / But my manager with 20 hoes in Buddakan,” Justin mimes. “Aye, look, Ariana, Selena my Visa / It can take as many charges as it needs to my girl.”

At the end, Scooter makes an appearance, as well as and his wife, Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), whom he married in September 2018. Justin wakes up next to Hailey, 23, and tells her, “I had a crazy dream. Drake asked me to be in a video, but he wasn’t in the video. It was just a bunch of people.”

Justin and Selena dated on-and-off from between 2010 and 2018. The “Sorry” singer began dating Hailey in 2018, with the pair marrying later that year.

“Look, marriage is always going to be hard and I think good relationships are the relationships that you put the work into,” she explained to Australian Vogue in an article published in September 2019. She got candid in a previous interview with her hubby in American Vogue where she confessed, “I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s all a magical fantasy. It’s always going to be hard.”

As for Selena, she “knows she’s better off without Justin, and that it’s the healthiest option for her,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that she’s “open to dating,” but right now, “she is solely focused on herself and enjoying life.”

It sounds like they’ve both moved on!
