Is it safe for Joy-Anna Duggar to fly during her pregnancy? That’s what fans are wondering after the Counting On star shared a photo of herself and her husband Austin Forsyth in what seemed to be a small, private plane over the weekend. Fans flooded the comments section and questioned Joy about her decision to fly while pregnant. Watch the video below to see what they had to say!

To be fair, we’re pretty sure that Joy would never do anything to put her unborn child in danger and according to Baby Center, most expectant mothers who are having a healthy pregnancy can fly without causing harm to their baby — until a certain point, that is. It is generally safe for pregnant women to fly throughout their first, second, and third trimesters until their final month, which is when doctors would normally advise against it for risk of going into labor while traveling.

Although Joy has yet to confirm her due date, she did provide a hint in her Oct. 2 baby bump update. She said that her baby was the size of a bell pepper, which means she was about 18 weeks pregnant, putting her due date at February 2018. Since Joy is roughly about seven months pregnant, it seems like she would be in the safety zone for flying.

Meanwhile, other fans continued to speculate whether Joy and Austin were having sex before marriage — which goes against a major rule in the religious Duggar family’s household. But that rumors seems to be debunked by Joy’s due date hint. If she’s due in February 2018, that would mean that she would have conceived in May. Joy and Austin tied the knot on May 26, 2018 which means that it’s possible that Joy could have gotten pregnant either on their wedding night or just days after their wedding.
