Joy-Anna Duggar Gets Sassy With Instagram Critic Defending Marriage

She’s hardly known for being the sassy sister, but that doesn’t mean that Joy-Anna Duggar doesn’t know how to clap back! Over the weekend, the Counting On star got her hits in on Instagram when she decided to go through and respond to some of the comments on a recent post. During one of those interactions, she sweetly shut down rumors that she was expecting. And in another, she got a little more playful when teasing a hater who suggested that she and Austin Forsyth don’t really have the happy relationship that we see on Instagram.

After Joy posted a picture of the couple, one of the Duggar family’s resident critics popped up in the responses to the post — but the new mom wasn’t having any of it. Instead of just telling them to eff off (which would be totally within her rights but pretty out of character for the reality star), she had a little fun instead and channeled her inner Jessa Duggar. Guess she learned it from her big sis! Jessa’s got tons of practice shutting down the peanut gallery. In the past, she’s come for someone who didn’t like that she said she was “training” her kids and had plenty of words for a fan who thought they spied a baby bump in her photos. More recently, she had a little sass to share with someone who was tired of seeing the Duggars at Marketplace Grill all the time. Now, we’re betting she consulted with Joy for the perfect come back.
