Sister Jinger Duggar may have been dubbed the "rebel child" of the Duggar family, but it looks like Joy-Anna Duggar is following in her footsteps! The Counting On star — who just turned 20 over the weekend — is breaking all kinds of rules these days. From her alleged shotgun wedding with Austin Forsyth to her pregnancy announcement and her internship at the Arkansas House of Representatives, the soon-to-be mama is most definitely stressing Jim Bob TF out.
Now, Romper is reporting that Joy wants to go to college — a big no-no in the Duggar fam. According to Michelle Duggar's TLC blog, her 19 children are "homeschooled with lessons on the Bible and scenic drives through the countryside." And while they don't often opt for traditional college, they do take classes from an online program called CollegePlus. Michelle stated that this way of learning works best for them because they are "still able to work or pursue other experiences while studying." Plus, it allows them to stick to their debt-free lifestyle.
She recently wrote that some of the Duggars are taking college classes, which means Joy could be one of them as she awaits the birth of her child. "A few of our kids are taking courses right now," the post begins, "and I think some of them will go for their degrees in whichever areas they decide, and then I think some of them may not really go for the full degree — but they're getting knowledge and information for skills that they want to gain. All my kids are different, and it will be interesting as time goes on to see which direction each one will take." It'll also be interesting to see how the pregnant star parents her little one — maybe he or she will go to public school! Gasp.
