Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth Share Their Very First Kiss On-Camera!
It looks like Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth aren’t playing by the Duggar rules ahead of their wedding!
In a clip from the Counting On season premiere, which aired on Monday, June 12, the couple talks about what they’re most excited for when they finally tie the knot.

“This is definitely the day that I’ve been waiting for for a very long time,” the 19-year-old bride-to-be says in the clip. “I can’t believe that it’s already here.”
Her beau Austin, 23, mirrors his lady’s enthusiasm when he says, “Today is the day that I have dreamed about and prayed about for pretty much as long as I can remember.”

And though we expect a fairly traditional ceremony from the young couple, they did admit to breaking one major tradition: Seeing each other on the day of the wedding!
“I guess there’s a tradition of not seeing the bride on the wedding day until it’s time to see her in her dress,” Austin says. “But Joy and I just do things different, and we needed to talk about some things and pray about some things, so we threw tradition out the window.”
They did, however, remain true to Duggar style in one main respect: the duo’s very first kiss ever was the kiss on the altar.
“I think the first kiss was amazing,” the groom said after the ceremony. “It was better than I ever thought it would be.”
Though the couple just got hitched on the TV show, they’ve actually been married since May and are currently honeymooning in Switzerland. And they seem to be really enjoying married life!
“I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life — its good times and its challenges — with my best friend. Having someone there to love me and support me and always be there for me,” Austin said of his big day. While the blushing bride added, “I’m so blessed to be married to him.”
We can’t wait to see the ceremony!
