So…romantic? Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth‘s babymoon adventure was shown on Monday’s double episode of Counting On, and fans can’t seem to understand why he would take his wife ice fishing while she was very pregnant. Their bundle of joy, Gideon, was born on February 23, and Jill was five and a half weeks away from giving birth at the time.

“I felt so bad for her, she couldn’t even zip up her coat because of the bump,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “Austin really doesn’t seem that bright sometimes. Like first you’re gonna let your wife work with power tools and then drag her out on a frozen lake while heavily pregnant and uncomfortable? What?” A third fan gave them props for trying to do something active before their baby arrived, but did note how they could have opted for something warmer.

Joy was seemingly putting on a brave face while making the most out of the experience, but viewers could tell she wasn’t having a blast. “The smell of fish does kind of make me sick sometimes,” she said, before they went home to cook up some dinner after failing to catch anything. On top of that, the couple also got stuck in the middle of a frozen lake while on their boat. “Well that was a lot of fun, not,” Joy joked to her hubby once the ordeal was over.

During the double episode, Jinger Duggar‘s difficult 18-hour labor and delivery was also discussed, as it was revealed that she went to a hospital to give birth to her precious daughter, Felicity Nicole. As we know now, Joy also had to be rushed to the hospital after a failed home birth due to complications. Luckily, Jinger and Joy’s babies both turned out healthy, and they’re cute as ever. Fans are glad to see them loving life as mothers!
