Fans Slam Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth for the Way They Hold Hands
What’s the deal? Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, posted a new photo of themselves holding hands on their shared Instagram page, and it didn’t take long for fans to start blasting the couple because they weren’t clasping fingers. The Counting On stars were subject to some serious criticism over their hand-holding ~technique~ in the comment section.
“🎶’The spaces between my fingers are right where your’s fit perfectly’🎶 #manlyhands #justholdmyhand #mybestfriend #AustinMartynForsyth,” the photo was captioned on Thursday, August 29. After it was posted, some of the couple’s followers immediately started sounding off about the snap. “But then you’re holding hands like potatoes not like french fries,” one wrote, while another chimed in, “But like, the space in between your fingers isn’t where your spouse’s are?”
On the other hand, there were several fans showing love to Joy-Anna, 21, and her hubby, 25. “I love a man with hard working hands … you have a gem,” a third fan commented, while a fourth wrote, “Don’t ever let go! You’re right where you belong!”
Hopefully the haters can take it easy on the couple, considering everything they have gone through in recent months. In July, Joy-Anna sadly revealed that she suffered a miscarriage at five months pregnant. The TLC alum later confirmed that she and Austin found out about their bundle of joy when they went in for their 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal.
While taking to Instagram with a statement about the tragic incident, Joy-Anna said that she and Austin had already picked out a name for their baby girl — Annabell Elise. “Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies.’ What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus,” she wrote.
Austin and Joy-Anna have definitely grown stronger as a couple over the years. The pair tied the knot back in May 2017 and welcomed their first child, Gideon, in February 2018.
