Setting down some roots! Counting On stars Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, took to their joint Instagram page on Saturday, November 16, to announce some very exciting news. They recently bought a new house and this time, it will be their very own!

“Sooo …WE BOUGHT A HOUSE and YES! We plan to settle down and live in this one for a while!” the 22-year-old captioned a series of photos and videos of their new home. “After a year and a half of camper living we’re so ready!!!” she continued, adding a face screaming emoji and a clapping hands emoji. “I love living in the camper, but I’m ready for more space and a little more organization!”

Joy went on to share more details about her family’s new digs. “This house has [three] beds and [two] baths and its a very open floor plan! We are just fixing up the basics… flooring, trim, new countertops, [and] fresh paint! I think I want to go for the Scandinavian/boho/minimalist style, all brought together!” she added with an upside down smiley face emoji.

The former 19 Kids and Counting star posted a series of video clips giving fans a tour of their new living space. “Okay, so you can see our camper parked out there. We have a nice porch outside. In here, we are painting all of our cabinets. This is the living room, and the dining room and the kitchen, look at that! I love it. I’m super excited. This house has three bedrooms and two baths,” she said, and Austin, 25, corrected her to three baths.

“It’s awesome. So we are slowly but surely painting the cabinets. When Austin paints, Gideon and I go hang out outside,” she continued. “And then we come back in to help him clean up and whatever. So, hard at work! Can’t wait to show you guys the progress.”

The home seems perfect for their family of three — the couple shares 21-month-old son Gideon — and fans will be happy that they’ve finally upgraded their living conditions. Joy-Anna and Austin have gotten backlash from some followers who think an RV camper is not a suitable place to raise their son, but it looks like little Gideon will have plenty of room to run and play in soon.
