He’s spilling all the tea! Josiah Duggar wanted to impress his future wife Lauren Swanson with his smooching skills on their wedding day, so he practiced by kissing his hand! The reality star kept it real while chatting with his brother on last night’s Counting On finale.

“As far as the first kiss goes, I mean, I’m sure you can figure it out,” Joseph said. “It’s not really that complicated.” Josiah appeared to be a little nervous about how the moment would go down, explaining, “I asked her just to stay still…and then kind of go with it.” Joseph, 23, suggested he lead the way, but since this would be a brand new experience for Josiah, he decided to take matters into his own hands — quite literally. “I was thinking, you know what? I wonder what it feels like,” Josiah said. “So I practiced on my hand.”

“I think practicing on my hand was just to see what it felt like from her side — you can’t kiss a tree and expect to see what it’s going to feel like for her,” the 22-year-old continued. “So if you kiss on your hand, you can feel…like, ‘Okay, maybe I should make my lips more full,’ or whatever, and kind of think of it from that perspective,” Josiah concluded. “You’ve got to think about it!” Prior to their wedding, the couple was following strict touching rules, but they didn’t have to fight off their “magnetic” attraction for much longer!

The lovebirds got hitched at the John Brown University Cathedral Of The Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR, on June 30. Josiah and Lauren shared their first kiss after they were pronounced husband and wife and he even dipped his blushing bride on stage afterwards. And since then, the couple has been enjoying every second together, even treating fans to steamy PDA pics. They also took their first spontaneous married adventure. Cheers to that!
