Is Josh Duggar finally a changed man? In the summer of 2015 — after it was revealed that not only had he molested his younger sisters when he was underage, but he also that he cheated on his wife, Anna — the eldest of the Duggar family checked into rehab and sought treatment for his sex and pornography addiction. Even after returning home, he continued to attend therapy as he slowly but surely made his way back in to his relatives’ lives (and, to a lesser degree, the spotlight).

And, according to one person close to the father-of-five, his time getting help paid off. “He’s doing great. He’s really folding into the lifestyle that comes with a new baby,” the source said. “He seems to have made some serious changes in his life.” When asked if he’s still in therapy, the source succinctly put it, “Nope!”

After the initial scandals, Josh spent a significant of time at an in-patient facility, and after several months away from his family, he sought treatment near his hometown. Since then, the two have welcomed their fifth child, a son named Mason, but they’ve always been open that therapy, for them, was long considered a work in progress. “Since the residential treatment program ended, we have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing,” the husband and wife pair said in a statement, released March 2016, read. “It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness, grace, and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives.”

With this completion of treatment (even though, most people who go through therapy will tell you it’s never really “done”), many fans are speculating that he may soon be returning to the family business — reality TV! Earlier this year, In Touch broke the story that Duggar patriarch Jim Bob was negotiating with TLC to bring his son back to the small screen. “He spent a month trying to convince TLC that Josh should be back on the show. They finally caved and agreed to let him film a Counting On webisode, where he’ll talk about his joy at learning he’s going to be a father again,” the source explained at the time. Should the episode be well-received, the source explained, “He’ll appear on the next season of Counting On.”
