Disgraced former reality TV star Josh Duggar made a rare appearance on social media on Satuday, June 2 in celebration of his son Marcus' fifth birthday. Josh's parents, Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar, took the to family's official Instagram page and shared a handful of pictures in a tribute to little Marcus and one of the pics was a family photo featuring Josh.

"Happy birthday to our sweet grandson, Marcus! We love your sweet, precious spirit, Marcus! You are growing up so fast and learning new things each and everyday! We love you and love watching you grow in the knowledge of the Lord," the caption read.

Fans flooded the comments and many of them seemed to be happy to see Josh back on social media despite his scandalous past. "A story of God’s love and restoration. Too bad others have such a difficult time forgiving. God bless this family," one fan wrote, while another commented, "It's so nice to see a photo of Anna, Josh and their beautiful family. Anna doesn't post too often on instagram."

That fan is right. Anna took a two-year hiatus from social media after Josh was slammed in two back-to-back scandals. Back in 2015, In Touch exclusively revealed that when Josh was 15 years old, he had molested five underage girls and four of them turned out to be his own sisters. As if that wasn't shocking enough, Josh was then outed as a cheater in the Ashley Madison hack. He later confessed to cheating on his wife Anna and admitted he had an addiction to porn.

Josh was sent away to receive treatment at a faith-based rehab facility and once he returned, he's kept a low profile on social media. Meanwhile, Anna was able to forgive her husband and it seems like things are back to normal since the scandal — the couple even welcomed their fifth child together last September.
