Josh Duggar Is Back on Social Media and Still Kind of Being Super Shady With It

He's baaaack. Josh Duggar made his return to social media, but this time, it was all for a good cause. The oldest Duggar sibling changed his profile picture to a photo of his son Michael and supposedly started a charity page for his parents' friends who were in a car accident. Although it seems like Josh is back on the social media grind for a positive reason, there is something kind of, sort of, shady about the whole thing — we are talking about Josh Duggar, after all. One eagle-eyed fan noticed that the charity, which was started on Josh's page, credited the organizer as Janie Williams. This specific fan speculated that Josh, for some unknown reason, is now using the alias Janie Williams as well as his previous alias, Joe Smithson.

"Both names are listed on the GoFundMe as running the campaign," the fan wrote on Facebook. "When I click on Janie's name, it led me to Josh's profile. I can see Josh using the common [names] Janie/Joe and common last [names] Williams/Smith to try [and] hide. I [don't see] a Janie Williams listed as a friend on Josh's page."

So, why does Josh need another alias? Could he possibly be using it to sneak around for other less charitable work? It's possible. The disgraced Duggar brother was accused and convicted in 2015 of molesting five underage women — four of his sisters and the family's babysitter. As a result, the family's hit TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting, was canceled.

Not only was he accused of those heinous crimes, but he also cheated on his wife, Anna Duggar, using the dating website, Ashley Madison. After his despicable behavior was exposed, Josh underwent treatment in a faith-based sex rehab program and has since been forgiven by the entire family and his wife. While it's unclear how Josh and Anna moved on from the scandal, it seems like things are back to normal as they welcomed their fifth child in September 2017.
