Yes, Josh and Anna Duggar Are Still Together, Much to Fans’ Dismay
It’s been nearly three years since the world found out that Josh Duggar cheated on his wife using the Ashley Madison website for extramarital affairs, and that he molested his sisters as a teenager, and we’re still not over it. Most marriages would crumble after learning just one of those two things, and yet Anna Duggar is still very much with her man. Here’s what we know about their relationship now.
The eldest of the Duggar kids has been mostly out of the limelight since 2015, but it seems like not much has changed behind-the-scenes. While he did go away to rehab for a little while, during which time his wife and kids lived on the Duggar homestead, it appears they’re back to normal.
Anna got back on Instagram in February after two years away, and she started off slowly by introducing fans to her kids. The snaps showed them being normal and cute, doing things like eating cucumbers, stacking oranges, or playing. On March 3, she shared a video of Josh for the first time since the scandal. In the clip, he’s blowing out the candles on his birthday cake, surrounded by family. Her captioned showed that they’re still very much together, writing, “Happy Birthday Josh! I’m so thankful for the 30 years of life God has given you – I love you!”
But fans certainly weren’t happy to see Josh, saying things like, “God Anna you still with that pervert????,” and “he’s a sick son of a b—h if I were Anna I take those kids and run.”
Anna seems committed to staying with Josh, but an acquaintance said she’s not exactly what you would call “happy.” “The only one who seems like she’s miserable is Anna,” said the person. “And as someone who has met Josh multiple times, he’s not someone who seems like he’d be a whole lot of fun to be married too. He just stares at every girl he meets like she is an object for him to do something with. Most of the Duggar boys are very respectful and are good at keeping their eyes up — Josh has never been, and I know he was reprimanded a lot for his wandering eyes as a kid.”
