Jordyn Woods Reveals Her Mom Elizabeth Woods Is in the Hospital: ‘We Need You Healthy, Mommy’
Oh no. Jordyn Woods revealed that her mom, Elizabeth Woods, went to the hospital on Sunday, October 13. “Last time one of my parents was in the hospital, he ended up passing suddenly,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories, referring to her late father, James Woods, who died in 2017 from cancer. “Staying in the hospital with my mom tonight, and I know she’s going to be fine. God is just throwing me all of these obstacles just to prepare and make me stronger than ever.”
The 22-year-old added, “Please pray for a speedy recovery for @elizabethwoods. We need you healthy, mommy.” The social media influencer didn’t divulge too many details about what was going on, but Elizabeth uploaded some photos from her room at the hospital. “Didn’t think today I would be in hospital,” she wrote. “I get to spend the night in the hospital. Working from a hospital bed tonight.” Elizabeth also shared a photo of herself with an IV in her hand. “Ouch,” she wrote, along with a sad emoji.
Just hours before the incident, Elizabeth posted two selfies on social media. “Yellow brightens my mood … #TeamIGotThis,” she wrote. Meanwhile, Jordyn also shared a photo of herself at the gym the same day. “CAN YOU GUYS GUESS WHAT I’M FILMING TODAY! I’M SO EXCITED,” she exclaimed. “(My YouTube video may be a hint).”
Elizabeth — who is Jordyn’s business manager — is frequently featured on the Life of Kylie alum’s Instagram page. After the SECNDNTURE designer had a falling out with Kylie Jenner — Jordy made out with Khloé Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson — her mama was there for her every step of the way.
“Thank you @TeenVogue for such a beautiful and real interview with @JordynWoods,” Elizabeth wrote on August 22 after the brunette beauty got candid about her life post-scandal in an interview with Teen Vogue. “To incorporate @JodieWoods in this also was magical! If you get one of us, then you get all of us. To sit back and watch @JordynWoods go through all of this mental and emotional anguish has been very emotional for us, and we pray for everyone daily. To see your kids hurt at any age if difficult, to say the least. All I can say is that I hope everyone out there is perfect, and no one has to ever endure any bumps along the journey of growing.”
Elizabeth continued, “To watch the majority of her friends leave her, not be able to go get services where she got accustomed to going and get bullied by the world, it takes a strong ass family and individual to be able to deal with that on a daily basis. I am proud of your strength, your love of family and God and your willingness to everyday want to move forward and do something positive, @JordynWoods!! We are praying that friendships can be mended as life is short, and no one is perfect. All those who truly know her and us know that love is all we have to give. We for real got this and for life I have the most valuable gift, my family. #TeamIGotThis #MamaWoods.”
