Jon Gosselin Reveals Engagement Plans With Girlfriend Colleen: ‘We’re Committed to Each Other’
Second time’s the charm? Jon Gosselin gushed about his longtime girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, and shared whether wedding bells are in their future, exclusively with In Touch. The 42-year-old said he doesn’t really see the point in saying “I do” again, while chatting with us at the Victoria’s Voice event presented by the Victoria Siegel Foundation and Greenspoon Marder LLP at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on Friday, October 25.
“We just look at each other like ‘Eh.’ Because we’re both divorced so … Is there a point? We love each other,” Jon questioned. “We’re committed to each other,” he added. For now, the two don’t feel the need to add another title.
Jon and Colleen are the epitome of a modern-day family. As we know, Jon fathered the brood that is featured on Jon & Kate Plus 8, but only two of his children reside with him — Collin and Hannah, both age 15. Colleen has two children of her own from a previous relationship, a son named Jesse and a daughter named Jordan. “They love her. She’s a great parent,” Jon told In Touch exclusively back in December 2018. “They respect her as a mom, too.” Previously, the blended family spent Christmas 2018 together and Jon even helped Colleen’s son move into college.
As their families have melded together swimmingly, Jon is head over heels in love and often displays his affection on social media — even highlighting their romantic date nights. “Last night’s date night pic!!! I Love this woman!!!” Jon captioned a photo with his arms around his ladylove just a few weeks ago.
The two also spent a fun and romance filled summer together. They were often spotted out and about on hot beach days, enjoying sporting events and even doing a little karaoke. Despite Jon’s ongoing drama with ex-wife Kate Gosselin, it doesn’t seem to have affected his relationship with Colleen.
Jon and Kate, 44, have been involved in a legal battle for over a decade and he finally spoke out after his gag ordered expired. At this time, “custody’s really up to the kids,” he exclusively told In Touch. At least Jon has found a partner in crime during this tough time.
