Jon Gosselin Throws Major Shade at Kate: “Certain People Don’t Want the Best for Their Children”

It looks like things aren't any less hostile between Jon Gosselin an his ex-wife Kate Gosselin! The former TLC star totally shaded his baby mama on June 18 when he engaged in an honest conversation with some fans on Instagram, and he clearly wasn't holding back.

On June 17, Jon posted a photo with his girlfriend Colleen and daughter Hannah celebrating Colleen's birthday, and a commenter was upset to see that he only had one of his eight children with them for the special occaision. In a response first spotted by The Stir, Jon totally agreed and placed the blame squarely on his ex-wife. "'Should be' is not always possible when 'certain' people are involved and don't want the best for their children," he responded.

This isn't the first time Jon has taken a shot at Kate for keeping the kids away from him. In 2016 he opened up to ET about his custody arrangement and what life is like for the kids with Kate. "Their chores supersede their homework," he said. "Their chores even supersede my custody, so if they don't get their chores done, they're not coming to my house." Kate also limits which kids get to see him. "I just go to the bus stop [at Kate's house] and whoever I get, I get," he explained, insisting he hadn't seen them all together "probably in three to four years."

Despite Kate's rules, it seems like Hannah has been spending more time with her dad lately. They've been posting frequent photos together, even including one on a road trip. In 2016, Jon revealed that Hannah didn't want to go back to Kate after one visit. "She just didn't want to go home. She wasn't getting out of the car, she just had a fear, and I wasn't going to discuss it at the end [of the] driveway," he claimed. "I'm like, 'I'm taking Hannah back,' and of course [Kate] flipped out. So I was like, 'You know where I live, here's my address again in case you forgot it. Kate called the cops and filed a police report against me." Unfortunately, it seems like not much has been done to repair that rift.
