Chrissy Teigen Opens up About Adoption With John Legend

Looks like Luna is going to be the best big sister ever!

Chrissy Teigen is glowing on the cover of Marie Claire's July Wellness Issue, and opened up about having more kids with husband, John Legend.

The model and her crooner hubby are already parents to the prettiest baby ever — aka Luna Simone, 1 — but want to have more children, whether that's through adoption or conceiving again.

"I would definitely adopt or have foster children," she reveals. "But I loved being pregnant. Maybe I should be scared [of having postpartum depression again], but I don't know. It couldn't be any worse than it was — could it?"

The 31-year-old battled postpartum depression following the birth of Luna.

"For me as a husband, it was my job to do the best I could to support her and understand what she was going through and do whatever I could do to help her. I feel like that’s the least I could do," John told People in March.

John and Chrissy have never been shy about their decision to turn to IVF. The model was even open about how she “picked” a girl because she wanted to see her husband, 38, be the father a daughter.

“I’ve made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl,’” she said at the time. “I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me to see — just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. A boy will come along. We’ll get there too, so it’s not like we really have to pick.”

In December, John said he’d like to have “three or four” more kids. More recently, Chrissy confirmed her plans to expand her family by reassuring fans that “a little boy is next for sure!”

In the past, the two have been incredibly open about what a difficult journey IVF was for them.

“Once we talked about IVF, it was like I heard everything. Some people who are close to us had done it, like, seven to 10 times. Emotionally, it could be really hard. When you have these high-highs and low-lows, and you’re like cuckoo pants,” Chrissy explained. “You don’t want to get your hopes up, but of course, you do.”
