She’s not giving up! Gia Giudice has officially started a petition in hopes of stopping the deportation of her dad, Joe Giudice, shortly after his appeal was denied by the ICE. Gia shared the page with her followers on April 23, asking people to share and sign. To fight for her cause, she discussed Joe’s background, how he’s served his time and his role as a father. Gia also noted how Joe has always been there for her family in every possible way, serving as a handyman, confidant, cheerleader, challenger and protector. Gia Giudice Sends Dad Joe Love and Strength as He Awaits Deportation Ruling

Not Giving Up

Joe and Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia, revealed that she had started a petition in an Instagram post shared on April 23. The 18-year-old began her plea, “My father, Joe Giudice, came to the United States when he was an infant, one year after his birth, he has resided in New Jersey his entire life.”

Pleading Her Case

“He is a businessman, a husband, father to four young women all under the age of 19, son, brother, uncle and friend to many,” Gia wrote. “He was found guilty of NON Violent offenses and served his time complying with all prison guidelines and procedures. My mother and father have fought tirelessly to pay back every single penny of restitution to court deemed they owe.”

Lessons Learned

The petition addressed how both of her parents learned from their mistakes and rectified them by serving time and paying off their debts. “He is currently still in a detention center while fighting the deportation; that’s right he’s still incarcerated months after completing his prison sentence in an effort to stand by his family,” she continued.

Taking a Stand

Gia also brought up how her father could have given up and just left to Italy after completing his sentence, but instead he hired “additional counsel” and chose to “make more appeals” because his family needs him around.

Hoping for a Reunion

“He and my mother are willing to spend funds and additional time in an immigration prison for the chance he gets to hold his children again,” she added. “He knows nothing of Italian culture, laws, societal norms, he has no immediate family and will not be able to secure work in this foreign land.”

“My father is not a danger to society, he is a warm loving man and I beg you sign our petition to give my father a second chance at being part of our lives and giving back to the community we live in once again,” Gia noted.

She concluded her plea, “This would rob us of my father screaming from the stands at our graduations, meeting our future husbands for the first time, of walking us down the aisle, of being there when his grandchildren come into the world. Please use your voice, your power and your signature to help keep my family together.”

Sharing Her Thoughts

Just a few days ago, Joe’s other daughter Miliana also took to Instagram with a powerful message. “We will never stop fighting for you daddy,” the 14-year-old captioned her Instagram throwback photo on April 19.

“I miss you terribly. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without you, I wouldn’t know how to stay strong. I need you home daddy. All I want is to be a family again. I love you endlessly buddy,” Milania concluded.

Reaching Out for Help

This isn’t the first time Joe’s loved ones have taken a stand either. Both girls recently reposted their mom’s hair stylist, Lucia Casazza’s Instagram post with a detailed message to the president.

Compare and Contrast

“How could we live and support a nation that allows sex offenders and pedophiles to stay in the United States as long as we register them to a list knowing they could live next-door and harm again, yet they could take a man who committed a minor crime to support his family away from his family it makes me want to leave this country,” it read, with the hashtag “Bring Joe Home.”

Legal Woes

On March 14, the Real Housewives of New Jersey dad was released from prison after completing his 41-month sentence for fraud, but was immediately transferred into the custody of ICE.

A Major Development

A month later, Joe’s appeal to avoid deportation was denied on April 21. “We are extremely disappointed that the Board Of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal,” James J. Leonard Jr., the Giudice family attorney, said in a statement obtained by In Touch.

The Latest Update

“We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court Of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters,” the statement concluded.

One Step at a Time

Unfortunately, if the court refuses to review their decision, Joe will be legally forced to leave the United States. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but it looks like the Giudice girls aren’t going down without a fight.
