Jinger Duggar Busts Out Shoulder-Baring Top and Chows Down on a Burger After Announcing L.A. Move
She’s breaking free! Jinger Duggar showed off her bare shoulders (gasp!) on Jeremy Vuolo‘s Instagram, hours after announcing their move to L.A.
“‘This is Laredo’ [pt.5],” the 31-year-old Counting On star wrote on Monday, March 25. “The Golondrina Food Park (@golondrinafoodpark) in North Laredo is a must-stop for any foodie. Picnic tables, food trucks, & corn hole, it’s Laredo’s ‘Magnolia Market.'”
Fans were loving the bold style choice from the 25-year-old mama. “Yesss show those shoulders girl. I love that you have branched out into your own style and standards/values,” one person wrote on her own account. Another added, “Yes, girl, wear pants and show your shoulders. You look great!” Even Jinger’s sister Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, got in on the commenting. “Y’all are so cute!! 😍😍,” they wrote. Aww.
The shoulder-showing is, indeed, a rare sighting in the famous household. Back in 2013, matriarch Michelle Duggar said in an interview with TLC that there’s a reason they dress modestly. “Our interpretation [of modesty is] that from the neck down to the knee should be covered. By keeping those private areas covered, there’s not any ‘defrauding’ going on,” she explained at the time. “My kids are taught the definition of defrauding as stirring up desires that cannot be righteously fulfilled. We don’t believe in defrauding others by the way we dress.”
Welp, it seems like that’s gone out the window now that Jinge is a married woman. In fact, she’s been making a lot of changes in her life as of late. “In recent days, God has made it overwhelmingly clear to us that he is leading us out of Laredo,” she and her husband revealed in a clip.
“Through much prayer and counsel, the next step for our family is to relocate to Los Angeles to attend Grace Community Church as Jeremy pursues graduate studies at The Master’s Seminary. As excited as we are to begin this new adventure, leaving Laredo this July will be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done; our friends here have become like family. Please pray for us as we open this new chapter of our lives.”
Jinger, who gave birth to her daughter, Felicity, in July, admitted, “This is going to be my first time living in a big city.” Best of luck, you three! Here’s hoping she takes her sleeveless top with her — and adds to her collection out in sunny Los Angeles.
