Keeping on counting on! Jinger Duggar is pregnant and expecting her first child with Jeremy Vuolo. The 24-year-old reality star and her hubby of just over one year kicked off the new year by announcing the exciting baby news.
“The past 14 months have been the best of our lives as we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage,” the couple told Us Weekly. “We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be. Truly, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: We are expecting our first child!”

They continued, “We are praising God for this beautiful gift and ask that you join us in praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy.” The sixth eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Jinger, who is known for breaking the religious family’s style rules, is not the only Duggar sibling expecting. Her sister Joy-Anna Duggar is currently pregnant with her first child, and her brother Joseph Duggar is also expecting a bundle of joy with wife Kendra Caldwell.
While Jinger comes from a big family, Jeremy is not sure just how many kids he wants to have with his wife. “I love kids. I really share Jinger’s love for children,” he said in 2016. “I definitely want to have children, but not sure how many. We’ll have to see what the Lord provides.”
To end the pregnancy announcement, Jinger and Jeremy, 30, also shared a Bible verse, Psalm 139:13-14, with their fans. “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Congrats to the happy couple!
