Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) is pregnant, and the former reality star announced that she’s expecting baby No. 3 with husband Jeremy Vuolo.
“We’re super excited,” Jinger, 30, told People on Tuesday, October 15.
The Counting On alum then admitted she was happy to not be pregnant during the summer months. “I’m actually all about it. Especially in the heat the past few days, I think I’m not super big pregnant and so I’m not having to worry about the extra heat,” she explained. “I’m like, ‘Oh man, this is going to be such an awesome thing to go through pregnancy, not in the summer.'”
Jeremy, 37, added that they “were expecting” the pregnancy, though admitted he “was still shocked.”
“When she told me, I was literally speechless,” he said. “She got me good. It was on Felicity’s birthday. Jinger says, ‘I’ve got a gift for you.’ It was in an Amazon bag. So I’m thinking, ‘What did she get from Amazon for me?’ Then I open it up and it’s the positive result, and I’m actually speechless.”
The couple – who tied the knot in 2016 – are expecting their latest bundle of joy in March 2025.
Before they publicly announced the news, they told the outlet that they made sure to tell their daughter Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 3, in a special way.
“We planned to get family pictures to announce the pregnancy and thought that would be the best time to let our girls know about their new sibling on the way,” Jinger said. “We got Felicity and Evangeline each a denim jacket with the words, ‘BIG SIS’ on the back. The photographer captured the sweet moment when they realized what those words meant.”
While Felicity “started jumping up and down in excitement over the news,” Jinger explained that “Evangeline wasn’t quite sure what to make of the news.” She added, “But we are certain that once the baby arrives, she will be all about her new role as big sis.”
After noting that she, Jeremy and their kids are currently “enjoying life together as a family,” Jinger admitted she’s not sure if they will have more kids after baby No. 3.

“I mean, I felt like I was set with two, but I don’t know. Three was kind of what we had always said was a really good number,” the 19 Kids and Counting alum said. “So three or four. I don’t know. But I think three is what I’m leaning towards right now.”
The couple hasn’t revealed their new baby’s gender, though Jeremy admitted he and Jinger are “curious to be parents of a little boy.”
“If it was another little girl, being a girl dad has been incredible,” Jeremy added, while Jinger said they will be “happy either way.”
Jinger and Jeremy announced they’re expanding their family more than one month after she admitted she would like to have twins. During the August 28 episode of their “Jinger and Jeremy” podcast, the couple shared their thoughts on Jedidiah Duggar expecting twin girls with his wife, Katey. After Jinger said the news was “so exciting,” she said the idea of having twins herself “would be be fantastic.”
“I mean, if we had twins, I’d be down for it,” she told Jeremy. “It would be a lot of work initially, but then it’s just a faster way to have babies. Like, if you want more kids, just double them up. Then you only have one pregnancy instead of two.”
