Jinger Duggar Gushes Over Daughter Felicity on Her First Birthday: ‘She Has Been Nothing But a Joy’
The joys of parenthood! Jinger Duggar shared a heartwarming message about her daughter, Felicity, to celebrate her first birthday on July 19. The Counting On star revealed what an incredible journey it’s been thus far, and also expressed how excited she is to see what the future holds.
“One year ago today, at 4:37am, we welcomed our little Felicity Nicole Vuolo into the world,” the 25-year-old captioned her montage of photos on Instagram. “She has been nothing but a joy, and we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for this precious one. Our prayer is that Felicity will love and serve Christ supremely all her days. Happy Birthday, sweet girl. We love you very much!”
Jinger later took to Instagram Stories with a throwback snap showing her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, 31, embracing their newborn daughter. “I remember seeing your daddy hold you for the first time and the precious bond you two shared from day one,” the reality star wrote.
Proud papa, Jeremy, also posted a thoughtful message of his own on social media to ring in the special occasion. The reality star shared a beaming photo of his bundle of joy wearing a bright green bow on her head.
“One year ago, this little munchkin was born,” he gushed. “Every day has been a journey of discovery — us discovering her as she curiously discovers her world. We are so blessed to wake up to this smiling face every day.”
As fans may already know, Jinger and Jeremy recently moved to Los Angeles and they were just paid a visit by his relatives for their daughter’s first birthday. The TLC star shared a darling video on her Instagram Stories, showing Felicity spending quality time with her grandfather. In the clip, he was dropping a flashcard and Felicity went to pick it up. “Uh oh,” the little one sweetly said. Jeremy also posted another precious photo of Felicity smiling with her grandma and grandpa. Too cute!
