Jinger Duggar Innocently Posts About Ice Cream, Gets Attacked by Vegans

Can a girl eat her ice cream in peace?! When Jinger Duggar recently posted a picture of an ice cream cone on Instagram, she probably didn't expect to be attacked by vegans in the comments section. The pregnant mama-to-be innocently captioned her photo, "Does it get any better than this?! ?banana dulce de leche ice cream," but people weren't pleased with her choice of treat. While many vegans took to the comments section to educate Jinger on the cruelty of the dairy industry, some fans stuck up for her and her eating habits. "I don’t believe Jinger requested any vegans to shove their beliefs down her throat. She’s just having an ice cream. Veganism is a personal choice. If someone solicits a lecture from you on the dairy industry and lentils, by all means fire away, but otherwise, get your nose out of other people’s plates." Another added, "People have a right to eat what they want and you don’t need to go and force your beliefs on what to eat and not to eat. It's ice cream. She enjoyed it and that’s that."

The 24-year-old hasn't responded to the backlash, but she did reply to one person's comment explaining why she was in Los Angeles. "Are y'all going to the Shepherds Conference?" the fan asked. "Yes, that is why we are in town. Jeremy is attending @shepconf this week!" Jinger wrote back.

The two are currently expecting their first child together, and while the sex of the baby has yet to be revealed, we do know Jinger is due in July. She's about 21 weeks along, so some are assuming the family will be throwing a gender reveal party pretty soon, similar to Joe and Kendra's. Who else is excited?!
