The Duggar family may be used to making public appearances as reality TV show stars, but it’s always nice when celebs go out of their way to make an appearance for more philanthropic reasons. And in November, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are doing just that, to support a wonderful cause that’s near and dear to Jeremy’s family.

Next month, Jinger and Jeremy are headed to Jeremy’s home state of Pennsylvania to attend the SWAN 4 Kids Make an Extraordinary Difference Gala. According to the Duggar Family Fan Blog, the organization is “a nonprofit organization that provides life-changing intervention for children whose parent(s) have a history of incarceration by mentoring them through the disciplines of music lessons and performance.” Sounds like a very worthy cause to me!

Jinger announced their appearance at the gala on Instagram, and this is likely not the first time most Duggar fans have heard about the organization. That’s because Jeremy’s mother, Diana Vuolo, began it several years ago, and Jinger and Jeremy have discussed the charity on social media in the past.

“ANNOUNCEMENT:” Jinger began the Instagram post, “@jeremy_vuolo & I are going to be at the @swan4kids_pa Gala this November 15th in Lancaster, PA! If you’d like to support SWAN4Kids, we’d love to meet you there. You can get tickets by going to the link in my bio. ☺️” Jeremy posted about their upcoming appearance on his Instagram as well.

Counting On fans may recall that Jeremy and Jinger attended this annual event before, and that Jinger accompanied a Swan student on the piano while the student sang during the previous event. It was all captured in a Counting On episode, where Jinger and Jeremy seemed to truly appreciate the work that SWAN 4 Kids is doing and to enjoy being involved in furthering such a great cause.

It’s a little surprising that Jinger and Jeremy have the time to attend the event, particularly because they probably have their hands full taking care of their daughter, Felicity — who recently turned three months old — down in Laredo, Texas. It sounds like a real undertaking to travel all that way with an infant, but since SWAN4Kids is so important to them and to Jeremy’s mom, they probably consider it a very worthy challenge.

Honestly, promoting this charity event on their social media accounts is kind of a clever way for Jinger and Jeremy to leverage their popularity with Counting On fans and other followers. If they can get Duggar family fans to attend and support SWAN 4 Kids, more power to them.
