It's been a whirlwind year for the Duggar family, but patriarch Jim Bob Duggar is trying to keep the family together, by whatever means he can.
According to HollywoodLife.com, Jim Bob Duggar is nervous that Anna Duggar—the wife of Josh Duggar—will leave her husband and the father of her four children, so Jim Bob has offered to buy her a brand new home.
Anna has reportedly refused the initial offer, but Jim Bob is determined to win her over.
“If Anna doesn’t accept the house and do what she can to save her marriage, things are going to get very uncomfortable,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “This is more than just about saving their marriage, in Jim Bob’s eyes, he’s fighting to save the entire family. If Anna leaves Josh it will be the nail in his coffin for Josh and the rest of the family. Getting Anna back in line and on board is priority one right now. If this house doesn’t work, if bribes won’t work, then Jim Bob will come up with a plan B. He’s not the kind of guy that just gives up."

The 19 Kids and Counting family has been in the spotlight this year after Josh Duggar confessed to molesting underage girls—two of whom were his younger sisters—and later owning and using an Ashley Madison account to cheat on his then-pregnant wife, Anna.
He has since checked into a faith-based rehab treatment center for his addiction to sex and pornography, and news came out that Anna has sold the couple's Arkansas home.
Now, it looks like Anna is standing her ground and not accepting her father-in-law's gifts in an effort to save the family and their reputation.
