If you thought you were ready for Jana Duggar to start courting, imagine being her parents. Though Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have publicly shielded their eldest daughter from too much speculation about her single status, a source close to the family tells In Touch that, behind closed doors, they’re just as impatient as everyone else. Now that her twin, John David Duggar, has found his match and settled down, the Counting On star is the only single member of the family over the age of 21. And as the most eligible bachelorette in their social sphere, she’s surely got plenty of options.

According to the insider, Jim Bob, 54, and Michelle, 53, are trying their best to be “patient” with their daughter as she searches for Mr. Right, but deep down they’re “frustrated” with the wait. “Meet a nice boy, date, get engaged, marry and start a family right away — that’s just how the Duggars do things,” the insider exclusively told In Touch. “But Jana isn’t going to marry someone just to follow the family norm — and that’s refreshing.”

It may be “refreshing” for those who have cheered on the star’s single status, but even some fans are eager for another Duggar daughter’s wedding. In August, the TLC star talked about settling down when a fan told her they “would love” to see her “finding her handsome prince.” Jana, 29, didn’t seem to be bothered by the comment, though, responding, “Maybe he’s riding in on a green turtle instead of a white horse.” Well, that would certainly explain why he’s taking his time! “[I’m] still searching for Mr. Right,” the conservative cutie continued. “In the words of Michael Bublé, ‘Just haven’t met [him] yet!'”

That statement would rule out Lawson Bates as a potential love interest, but it hasn’t convinced fans that a romance between the two is out of the question. Some even noticed that the Bringing Up Bates star had just posted a picture with a green turtle at the time. A month earlier, the families’ followers noticed the country singer had been spending a lot of time in Arkansas, and most recently the two were part of a team that flew into the Bahamas to help with hurricane relief, spending time with friends and family at Universal Orlando once they’d gotten back to the States. Jana has denied any courtship or flirtation in the past, but we doubt fans will stop shipping them any time soon.
