This family never learns! On May 2, Jill Duggar posted an Instagram photo of a list of "things to pray for your children." While most of the items on the list were normal(ish), like "for god to keep them from evil," and "that they would love each other," the last thing is causing an uproar. Fans are even calling it "transphobic!"

"I got this at a #MOPS meeting my amazing momma was speaking at a few months ago," Jill wrote about the list in her caption. "Not sure where she got it from, but it’s super good." However, "that our boy would be glad to be boys and our girls glad to be girls," was the last thing to pray for, and fans were horrified. "The last one was totally a dig at transgender people. Not good," said one commenter. "Wow… the last prayer blatantly asking to not have a transgendered child. What the f–k," said another.

However, other fans thought that Jill's heart was in the right place. "What is so wrong with being happy with the gender you’re born with? Isn’t that ultimately the goal?" asked a supporter. "It never said 'pray you don’t have transgender children' It said pray that your children are happy to be who they are. Being transgender is often a tough thing for many people and causes them damage because they struggle with identity for a while. I don’t think it was meant to be a bad thing at all. Everyone should pray that your kids are happy in their skin, because otherwise, that is a very difficult thing to go through."

As Duggar fans know, Jill's husband Derick Dillard was fired for making his own anti-trans comments, so it's no surprise that they began blaming him for Jill's train of thought. "That’s how her husband feels too… smh that’s where she thinks that’s ok… not in this day and age," said a fan. Derick's comment was certainly more blatant. He attacked his fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings, writing of her show, "What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it's ordained by God." Clearly he's rubbed off on Jill.
