Jessa Duggar Shares New Photos of Baby Ivy and Aunt Jill Says She Looks Like Spurgeon
She is the cutest! Jessa Duggar shared new photos of her baby girl, Ivy Seewald, and noted that the little girl is growing like a weed. “Not born as big as her bros, but she’s 5 1/2 weeks now and nearly 12 pounds,” the Counting On star wrote on Instagram. “This kid likes to eat. 😆👶🏻 #IvyJaneSeewald.” Then, Ivy’s aunt Jill Duggar chimed in the comments and said, “And looking more like Spurge now. LOL.”
“Spurge,” of course, is little Ivy’s big brother Spurgeon Seewald. Ivy actually has two big brothers — 3-year-old Spurge and Henry, 2. She’s the first daughter for Jessa, 26, and Ben Seewald. So we wouldn’t be surprised if they end up sharing a lot of photos and videos of the little girl as she grows up.
The Seewald family, a.k.a. Ben’s side of the family, commented on the new pics too. “Every time I turn around she is cuter! 😘😘😘,” they wrote. We couldn’t agree more!
Jessa also shared several photos of her sons spending quality time with their new little sister on Instagram on June 27 and admitted how emotional it was for her to see them together. “I‘m all teary-eyed seeing my boys love on their little sister. 👦🏻👦🏼👶🏻,” the reality TV mama wrote. “Spurgeon had two people in the house to love on him. Ivy has double that number. As my mom would always say, ‘Love multiplies, it doesn’t divide.’” She then added, “Today is a gift, tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. I never want to take a single day for granted.”
Ben, 24, and Jessa welcomed their newest adorable addition on May 26 and confirmed the happy news with Us Weekly on May 28. “She feels so tiny compared to her siblings!” the couple told the outlet, explaining that their sons were born at nearly 10 pounds and close to 9 pounds, respectively. “We’re so grateful to God for this precious gift. She is already so loved. Her big brothers adore her!” Clearly, that hasn’t changed!
