Once again, Jill Duggar has found herself in hot water. The former Counting On star took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the Santa Fe High School shooting, but fans weren't thrilled with her message. The post read, "Silence in the face of evil itself is evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act." In the caption, the mother-of-two wrote, "This has so many applications to our lives! Let your voice be heard. #votetoday????#researchcandidates #neveragain#protectourrights. Read more about voting at our Life Matters blog post! Link in bio."

Although some praised the disgraced reality star, others slammed her for remaining silent while her husband, Derick Dillard, continues to attack the LGBTQ community. "The irony of you posting this is hilarious," one person wrote. Another added, "They have to keep their names in the public eye. They still want to be famous." A third, however, argued that the Duggars never did anything following Josh's molestation scandal. "'SILENCE IN THE FACE OF EVIL….'" Your oldest brother molested you and your family basically said 'No big deal.' There is nothing more evil than CHILD MOLESTATION and Josh got away with it and you all like it was a normal thing he did and continue to play one big happy family. Maybe the Duggars should practice what they preach!!"

Earlier this week, Jill shared a different post and was criticized for that too. "Prayers for those affected by the Santa Fe shooting yesterday. #neveragain." People were quick to comment that "prayers" just weren't enough, especially since it marked the 22nd school shooting where someone was hurt or killed — and we're just 20 weeks into the year. "Prayers mean nothing to dead children," one person wrote. Another added, "Prayers won't fix this!!! Your government can if they want," and a third chimed in, "Oh… have prayers worked in the past?"

A fourth was more concerned about her hashtag. "Never again???? Really?? That's your hashtag??" they slammed. "Obviously it WILL HAPPEN AGAIN, and again and again!!!! It's time for your country to address gun control. It's just sickening."

On Friday, Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17 — armed with a shotgun and .38-caliber handgun — opened fire at Santa Fe High School not long after classes started, killing 10 people. He was arrested and charged with capital murder and aggravated assault on a public servant.

Yet this is hardly the first time Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, have received backlash for their comments on social media. Most recently, Derick took to Instagram to bash the new TLC series, Lost in Transition. "I really hope this is a series showing the devastation that mental illness causes, rather than presuming that these challenges are simply evidences of an improving society. #optimism."

His tirade came just weeks after he called Nate Berkus' family a "travesty" on Twitter. "It's sad how blatant the liberal agenda is, such that it both highlights and celebrates a lifestyle so degrading to children on public television as if it should be normal."
