Jill Duggar Is the Ultimate Fashionista Rocking Pants and Heels: ‘Surprised How Comfortable These Are’

She’s serving style cues! Jill Duggar used to wear only dresses and long skirts when she was growing up, but that’s definitely not the case anymore. The former Counting On star rocked pants and heels in a new Instagram snap on March 22 while announcing some exciting news.

Jill showed off her chic ensemble, consisting of black pants, a striped top and a pair of heels — which she couldn’t help but rave over. “Love my new shirt and shoes pictured here,” Jill added.

Jill is proving to be quite the fashionista these days, even dubbing the shoes her “new favorite warm weather heels” in one hashtag. “I’m not usually into heels, but I was surprised how comfortable these are,” she confessed. “Because they are platform (raised on the front too), they don’t make you feel like you’re walking on your tip toes … and they have some cushion to them!”

Several fans were taking to the comment section to show support to Jill. “I LOVE seeing you wear pants,” one wrote. “Looking good as always,” another sweetly added. “Love that you are dressing the way you want. Keep it up. You go girl.”

Jill and her sisters previously explained why they follow such strict rules when it comes to their dress code in the 2014 book Growing Up Duggar. “We do not dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary,” they explained. “We realize that our body is a special gift from God and that He intends for it to be shared only with our future husband.”

The reality star has been married to Derick Dillard since 2014 and is no longer living under Michelle and Jim Bob’s roof, so it looks like she’s doing her own thing style-wise!
