Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Slammed by Fans Who Claim Their Son Israel “Always” Has Black Eyes

These two just can’t stay out of the controversial spotlight! Counting On stars Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are under fire (again) after Jill posted a picture on Instagram of her son, Israel, 2, with a black eye. Fans quickly took to the comments section to voice their concerns — see what they had to say by watching the video below!

Although bruises are common among children at that age, some of the Duggar family’s critics have conspired that Israel’s injuries might be the cause of negligent parenting. Others have even gone as far to say that the reality TV couple might be using blanket training, an intense form of discipline, on their child.

The controversy comes just weeks after the 28-year-old took to Twitter to share his unwarranted opinion about fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings and her reality show, I Am Jazz. The Counting On personality decided that it was a good idea to attack the 16-year-old trans advocate, for reasons we may never understand. “What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality,” the dad-of-two wrote. “‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.”

Fans quickly came to the teen’s defense — and slammed the reality star for his hateful comments. “Is it necessary for a grown man to throw shade at a teenage girl?” one commenter said. Another added, “Be careful, Derick. Your brother-in-law was banned from TLC and they could do the same to you for bullying a child TLC star. Judge not.” This person referred to the scandal that rocked TLC — when Josh Duggar confessed to at least seven acts of sexual molestation against his sisters. Here’s to hoping Israel merely fell or ran into something by accident, and not that fans’ speculations are true.
