He’s in the best care! Former Little People, Big World star Jeremy Roloff underwent surgery for a hernia on Friday, November 1, and he took to Instagram to share an update with fans. Not only is Jeremy doing great and recovering well after his medical procedure, but he also took a moment to share a sweet shoutout to his pregnant wife, Audrey Roloff, for being the best nurse and taking care of him as he continues to recover.

“Well, I’ve been laid up on the couch all day dreaming up projects and wanting to walk around the farm with my girls. I’m so thankful for @audreyroloff and how well she takes care of me. Being 30 weeks pregnant, she’s a rockstar and way tougher than me 😅. Oh, and Embers kisses have been helping too. 💌,” Jeremy, 29, wrote on Instagram.

Audrey, 28, is currently in her third trimester of pregnancy with the couple’s second child together, a baby boy. They are also parents to their daughter, 2-year-old Ember. Audrey took to her own Instagram to share a funny video of Jeremy taken as he was still groggy from his operation, and she joked that she is taking care of “three” babies now that her hubby is recuperating post-op.

“Jer post-surgery 😂. It’s safe to say I’ve been taking care of [three] babies the past couple days 😜. Thanks for your prayers everyone, Jer is home recovering 🙏🏻. Call me crazy but I decided this would be a good time to potty train Ember since we’d be home …. 🚽.  So between the three of my babies 👶🏼🤰🏼👱🏼‍♂️. There have been a lot of trips to the potty 🤣,” Audrey wrote.

On Saturday, November 2, Jeremy revealed more details with fans about his inguinal hernia surgery. He explained that he has a hernia for the past few years but had tried to live with it because he wanted to avoid surgery. But after ignoring it for so long, Jeremy started to experience some health issues in recent months, including “severe lower back pain and chronic shoulder pain,” he wrote.

“I’ve come to realize that I’ve been subconsciously protecting my hernia with poor posture and lack of core strength. I’ve pretty much eliminated all physical exercise too which has increased the problem because of muscle loss which has me walking weird as well. I’ve been ignoring my health and it all came to a head when just a few days ago I threw out my back after sneezing. Embarrassing, right? 😂😬,” Jeremy continued in his caption. “All said, I’m considering this a turn in my health journey. I have a goal to be in the best shape of my life by 32. Health is something that needs continual attention or else it unnoticeably fades — like most things in life. Time to put some attention back on personal health!”
