Jennifer Lopez Is Ready to Date Again Amid Ben Affleck Divorce: ‘She’s Looking to Have Some Fun’

She looked as stunning as ever. On October 26, Jennifer Lopez stepped onto the red carpet of her Ben Affleck-produced film Unstoppable wearing a pink bubble skirt and matching sky-high platform Gucci heels. For dinner afterward at celeb hotspot Arden, she swapped out her leggy red carpet look for a plunging light pink slip dress that shimmered as she moved.

“Obviously she’s showing Ben what he’s missing,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. She’s also sending a message to all the men out there: She’s never looked — or felt — better, and she’s ready to date again, says a source.

It’s been less than three months since Jennifer, 55, filed for divorce from Ben, 52, “but she’s clearly moving on,” says the source. “She’s not looking for a serious relationship — for now — but she is looking to have some fun. She’s on the prowl again.”

Jennifer Lopez Is Unlucky in Love

The actress-singer hasn’t been alone much over the years. “One might say she’s a serial dater,” says the source. The singer was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014, and Ben from 2022 to 2024. In between, she got engaged to Alex Rodriguez and was involved with her backup dancer Casper Smart and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

She was also rumored to be dating Drake after he was spotted cheering her on at her All I Have Las Vegas residency in December 2016. A series of now-deleted cuddly Instagram posts — which included a photo of Jennifer lying across Drake’s lap and another shot of the two embracing at a party — followed.

“Drake has always had a thing for J. Lo,” says an insider, “and if he plays his cards right, who knows? Maybe he can finally get her.”

Jennifer has admitted she’s a hopeless romantic. Earlier this year, she called herself “more of a love addict or a workaholic than everything else.” And in 2010 she said, “For me, love is the never-ending question. It is confusing. It is the answer, but it is also inundated with contradictions and complications. It’s about years of experience in different relationships, and kind of the culmination of that, and how even to this day I’m still learning.”

Fourteen years later, she’s still learning. “The breakup with Ben really shook her up,” says the source. “She was devastated and put on a brave face in the weeks following the split. But then something shifted. She picked herself up and decided to move on. No more sulking.”

The turning point was in September, when she wore that Tamara Ralph disco-ball revenge dress at the 2024 Toronto premiere of Unstoppable. “She was back,” says the source. “The big question now is: Who will she date next?
