Jennifer Garner and John Miller Planning ‘Dream Wedding’ in Paris After She Goes Shopping for Dresses

Jennifer Garner and John Miller are forging ahead with wedding plans and she’s been eyeing up a dream ceremony in Paris after a recent trip, a source exclusively tells In Touch, adding that the actress even went shopping for gowns while overseas.

“Jennifer is finally putting the focus back on herself and everyone is happy to see it,” the insider dishes. “She’ll never be a diva, but she deserves to be the center of attention after putting Ben [Affleck] first for so long and this shopping trip in Paris was the perfect reward.”

The 13 Going on 30 actress spent time in Paris in September and was photographed attending the Christian Dior show at Paris Fashion Week. Behind the scenes, she was “seriously scouting for a dream wedding dress and looking at different wedding venues” while in town, according to In Touch’s insider.

“Jen and John have taken a lot more trips to Europe than people realize,” the source spills. “Paris is one of their favorite escapes and they’ve decided getting married there this coming spring is something they want to do.”

A grand wedding in Paris will be much different from the last time Jen, 52, tied the knot – she and Ben Affleck eloped in Turks and Caicos when they wed in 2005, with only Victor Garber and his partner Rainer Andreesen in attendance.

“This time around she wants a big wedding in a dream location and John is all for it,” the source concludes. “He loves the idea of giving her something that Ben never did, so he’s totally encouraging her to go all out. He’s got plenty of money and wants to totally spoil her.”

Jen and John, 46, started dating in 2018 and have mostly kept their relationship low-key and out of the public eye. Although they split in 2020, they reconciled by the end of summer 2021 and have been going strong ever since. The two have not confirmed their engagement, but she’s been seen with a ring on her left hand on multiple occasions since 2021.

In August, Jen and John hit a bit of a rough patch amid Ben’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez. The Alias alum shares three children with Ben, 52, and has supported him through difficult times – including a 2018 rehab stint – since their 2015 split. A source told Life & Style that Ben and J. Lo’s divorce “took a toll” on Jen and John’s relationship because the Argo star began turning to his ex for “advice and support.”

“[It was] a big source of annoyance for John,” the insider admitted. “He doesn’t enjoy competing with her ex-husband for her attention. John likes Ben and tries to be understanding, but there’s only so much a guy can take.”

Luckily, the couple was able to get past their issues and Ben and Jen have remained amicable coparents. On October 18, they were even photographed heading to an event together in Brentwood, California, with their middle child, Fin. J. Lo, 55, was seen arriving at the same event with her child Emme.
