There might still be hope for beloved former couple Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.

A new report claims the Friends alum, 48, would love to work on a movie with her ex-husband, 53.

“Jen would work with Brad on screen. It would have to be the perfect role and all the stars would have to align, but it’s definitely something that would benefit their careers. She has thought maybe it would be easier for them to start something as voices on a future animated film — not characters that would be romantic with each other. She would highly consider it, so much so that she thinks it’s more likely than a Friends reunion,” a source told [Hollywood Life](http://hollywoodlife.com/2017/03/06/jennifer-aniston-brad-pitt-working-together-movie?utmsource=social&utmcampaign=partner-bauer&utmmedium=social)_.

This comes on the heels of reports that the two are still in contact, after ending their marriage in 2005 thanks to his Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie.

“[Brad] has confided in Jen. Brad told her he’s having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past,” an insider previously revealed to Us Weekly, adding that her current husband, Justin Theroux, 45, “is OK with them being friends. [He knows] Jen just wants to be nice.”

In Touch exclusively revealed that Jen took her ex’s side when she found out that Brangelina would divorce and take part in a nasty custody battle — which was surprising, considering the Maleficent star, 41, allegedly came between her marriage with Brad.

“She is firmly on his side in the custody battle,” said a source. “She can’t help but stick up for him. She knows how much he loves those kids.”
