Oh, boy. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ fiancé, David Eason, may have avoided more jail time (for the moment, at least), but he is still due in court after violating a domestic violence order of protection in 2016. According to Radar Online, David’s original 60-day sentence was thrown out after he filed an appeal.

The site reports that David — who lives in Wilmington, NC, with Jenelle — was found guilty of violating the order last year when he saw his young son, Kaden, in a grocery store and hugged him. David’s original court date was scheduled for Aug. 7, but the New Hanover County Clerk of Court said that the case was continued.

According to the 2016 arrest warrant, obtained by Radar Online, David’s son’s grandmother and aunt were “frightened” when the 29-year-old dad “grabbed” his son after he was told to stay away. “Defendant was in the same location as his child, who was out with his grandmother and aunt when defendant approached and hugged [his child],” the warrant stated.

Radar Online reports that David’s ex-girlfriend (who has yet to be identified) obtained the protective order against him after they ended their volatile relationship in 2015. His new trial date is still pending and has yet to be scheduled by the court.

As previously reported, David has already served time in jail. In fact, he and Jenelle’s ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, were prison buddies during their overlapping stints at the Neuse Correctional Institute in Goldsboro, NC. David was ordered behind bars for breaking and entering, larceny, drug paraphernalia possession, and injury to property. The welder was in custody between July 30, 2014 and Jan. 1, 2015.
