Jenelle Evans’ Ex-Husband Courtland Rogers Wants Her Back!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is settling down with fiancé David Eason who popped the question back in February. But newly free-from-prison ex-husband Courtland Rogers said he's interested in trying to get back into his ex-wife’s life.

The 31-year-old, who was sent to prison for charges of heroin possession and being a habitual felon, was released early at the end of March when he qualified for a release program. And since then, he’s been working to find his way back into his ex’s heart.

“When we tried it out, we were both high,” Courtland told Radar Online. “If I loved her that much on drugs, I could only imagine how it would be if we were sober.”

The couple was married from 2012 until 2014 after dating for only two months. And though not much of the relationship was seen on the reality show, it was one of Jenelle’s most notorious and tumultuous. The duo were even expecting a child together, but made the decision to terminate the pregnancy.

Though Courtland, who is father to daughter Jordan, has wanted to reconnect with his old flame, he has decided against reaching out.

“I see her living her life with David and she looks happy,” he said. "At the end of the day, that’s all I ever wanted for her.”

Courtland, who spent two months as a cell mate to Jenelle’s current beau, was surprised to learn of their budding relationship.

“I talked to him every day,” he said. “He knew we were married. I would always talk about her. He would sit there and listen and give me feedback. He was cool. When I heard she was with him, I was like, ‘Oh my god! This is crazy.’ I don’t know how that worked.”

Though he admitted his past with David makes things awkward, he assured fans there is no bad blood.

“I wasn’t upset, but it caught me off guard,” he said. “I couldn’t believe it. With her having a baby, it blew my mind. At the end of the day I’m happy for her.”
