Just a week after Jenelle Evans came under fire for her parenting on Teen Mom 2, the mother-of-three is dealing with critical fans all over again. This time, they’re expressing their concerns that her alleged neglect could be affecting her son’s growth.
The Oct. 9 episode showed Jenelle and husband David Eason engaged in a serious argument, culminating with David kicking the MTV crew off of their property. Filming later resumed, but they glazed over the fight, putting on a happy face for a photo shoot — all while Jenelle's three-year-old son Kaiser cried in the background and begged his mom to “feed” him. This spurred conversation that the 25-year-old ignores her children, while her new husband is verbally abusive.
After that, Jenelle deleted her Twitter account and released a statement that demanded an apology and respect from producers before she would sign another contract with them. Fast forward a few days, and she's posting photos of herself spending quality time with her sons over the weekend. With these pics, she may have intended to prove she's a good mom, but it seems to have had an opposite effect.
In the comments section, one follower observed that Kaiser might not be developing at a normal rate. “Is it just me or does it seem like Kaiser has been the same size for two years now?” the commenter wrote alongside the shot of the reality star painting pumpkins with her sons.
Then again, her middle child is still young and has shot up some from last summer. A look at him and Jace in a photo from last July — 15 months prior to the above pic — proves the little one isn’t as stunted as the fan claimed. It probably doesn’t help that in many shots, he's pictured next to his siblings, who seem to be adding inches overnight. Baby sister Ensley is less than a year old and doubling in size daily, while Jace is more than twice his age at eight years old.
Whatever viewers might think of the Easons as parents, the boys seemed happy to be spending time with the both of them at family fun camp over the weekend. David was in full stepdad duty with Jace, teaching him how to use a BB gun in one of Jenelle’s posts. “Thank you so much babe for being there for Jace. When all the dads were helping out their kids, @easondavid88 stepped right in,” she captioned the shot.
