It’s finally settled. Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason have reportedly been cleared of any wrongdoing in a child abuse investigation, according to TMZ. Social workers determined there was “no abuse” after visiting her home in the end of July.

Jenelle’s ex, Nathan Griffith, sparked the investigation by telling cops their son Kaiser would repeatedly come home with bruises and he speculated they were at the hands of David. After watching Jenelle’s road rage incident unfold on Teen Mom 2, Nate filed to request full custody and claimed in his legal docs that Kaiser had drugs in his system when he was born.

As of now, Jenelle and Nathan share 50/50 custody of their son Kaiser, but after seeing Jenelle lose her temper, Nathan believed the scene would help his case. “I think it shows that the child might be in danger being in a hostile situation like that,” he told TMZ after the shocking ordeal aired, noting how Jenelle was “not making sound judgment to keep the children safe.”

Fans have long worried about Jenelle, whose husband has seemingly shown signs of aggression on the MTV show. One episode in 2017 showed Jenelle and David engaged in a serious argument, culminating with David kicking the MTV crew off of their property. Filming later resumed, but they glazed over the fight, putting on a happy face for a photo shoot — all while Jenelle’s son Kaiser cried in the background and begged his mom to “feed” him.

After that, Jenelle deleted her Twitter account and released a statement that demanded an apology and respect from producers before she would appear on the show again. Fast forward to today, and she’s been sharing pics of Kaiser and has reportedly signed a new contract with Teen Mom 2, so it appears the drama has blown over. Now that she and David have been cleared of any wrongdoing, hopefully this is a chance for a fresh start.
