He may be maintaining his innocence, but Ronnie Ortiz-Magro still won’t get to see his ex or his daughter. On Friday, November 8, the Jersey Shore star’s ex Jen Harley and their daughter were granted a temporary protective order against him. According to Radar Online, the order was requested by the city attorney on Jen’s behalf and was granted by the judge. The mother herself wasn’t present. The same day, Ronnie entered a plea of not guilty to all seven domestic violence and weapons charges he’s facing.

Ronnie, 33, is due back in court on November 12 for pretrial. After being hit with additional counts on October 24, he’s accused of committed seven misdemeanors: willfully inflicting corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant, brandishing a weapon, willful and unlawful criminal threats, false imprisonment, child endangerment and two counts of resisting arrest. The weapon he’s alleged to have brandished is a knife.

The MTV star’s lawyer, however, has denied the accusations on his client’s behalf. “The facts and circumstances around Ronnie’s arrest have been misreported and exaggerated, like we mentioned in the past,” attorney Scott E. Leemon said in a statement obtained by In Touch. “We are happy the District Attorney’s refused to file any charges and we look forward to addressing this matter with [the] City Attorney; until then, we will make no further comment.”

The statement mirrors one Leemon shared with In Touch in early October. “The reporting of the alleged incident relating to Ronnie Magro this morning is based upon pure speculation and innuendo,” he said. “We are currently conducting our own investigation and will have no further comment until that has been concluded.”

The protective order is new, but it’s also not the first one issued in this case. After Ronnie’s October 4 arrest, an emergency protective order was issued against him on Jen’s behalf. The order barred him from coming within 100 yards of Jen, 31, and was lifted after his court hearing on October 11. According to Us Weekly, it was dropped because the mother didn’t appear in court.

Since then, the star spent time with his daughter, Ariana. The two visited a Disney theme park and went to a pumpkin patch. This time around, Ronnie won’t be able to see her, but that hasn’t stopped him from posting about her online. In the hours before his court appearance, he shared a photo of him and his little girl together. “❤️ 😊 #DaddysGirl,” he captioned the shot on Instagram.
