Javi Marroquin’s Latest Move Proves He Won’t Be Part of Kailyn’s Baby’s Life

Do not expect Javi Marroquin to pick up any parental duties for Kailyn Lowry‘s unborn child.

After In Touch reported that it’s possible for the Teen Mom 2 star to be named the legal father of his pregnant ex’s third baby, the Air Force member opened up about the matter on Twitter.

A fan asked Javi if he would respond to the allegations, first revealed by Radar Online — to which he replied, “Yeah. Already reached out to my attorney to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

According to Delaware law, the father-of-one would have to file a valid denial of paternity.

“Delaware law states that the ex-husband is presumed [to be] the father of a child if the child is born less than 300 days after the divorce,” explained New York-based lawyer Brooke Camhi, who is not licensed in Delaware.

Kailyn announced her and Javi’s split last May and their divorce was finalized in December.

This comes on the heels of Kail’s confirmation that her new baby daddy is Chris Lopez, though it does not appear that they are still together. Their child is due sometime this summer.
