Javi Marroquin Fires Back at Kailyn Lowry After She Claimed to Marry Him Because She Was Desperate

Oh snap! Javi Marroquin clapped back at his former flame Kailyn Lowry after her shady tweet about why she married him on Aug. 10. The Teen Mom 2 star claimed that she tied the knot with her ex because she was “desperate” and this remark clearly rubbed Javi the wrong way. 

The drama started when a Twitter user claimed that Javi was only able to pull girls due to his reality star fame. Kailyn responded, writing: “When I met Javi, he lied to me and told me he didn’t know who I was… creeped his Twitter and sure as s–t he had tweeted me a week prior. That was after he got picked to do True Life and the girl refused.” When someone else asked why she decided to say “I do” to Javi knowing all this, she shared her side of the story.

“I was young and ignored red flags apparently. What most would call desperate,” Kailyn wrote. Javi saw the conversation, seemingly because he was tagged, and fired back at his baby mama for still talking smack about him. “Stop tweeting about me. Stop seeking validation. Move on, please. Like, we’re grown now…That’s for the birds.” Javi later deleted his tweet and explained why, writing: “Because we’re too grown to be going back and fourth. I’m enjoying my life as privately as I can. I don’t need to be looking for validation from social media.”

Javi also revealed that he’s “passed that stage in his life,” as he’s expecting a bundle of joy with pregnant girlfriend Lauren Comeau. Javi recently confirmed that he and Lauren did get a new place in Delaware and will be moving there in two weeks. And on top of that, wedding bells are ringing for the couple! “Definitely in the future I will propose,” Javi told Radar, while setting the record straight about the engagement rumors. As far as a timeline goes, the reality star clarified “the focus is on the baby first.” Well, there you have it!
