They’re pregnant! Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin is going to be a dad — again — as the reality star confirmed to Radar Online that he and his girlfriend Lauren Comeau are expecting their first child together. The news first came via a Facebook post — in which Javi boasted about his “blessings on top of blessings” — and was later confirmed by the 25-year-old himself.

This is the first child for Lauren, and the second for Javi, who shares three-year-old son Lincoln with his ex-wife Kailyn Lowry. News of Javi’s impending baby is interesting, considering the decision to have another child after miscarrying was a contentious topic for the former husband and wife (he wanted another kid but she didn’t, though she later went on to have a baby, Lux, with her former fling Chris Lopez).

Eventually, however, she clarified that it wasn’t that she didn’t want more kids in general, rather, she didn’t want more kids with Javi — explaining that their relationship became “toxic” after they miscarried in late 2015. She has since gone on the record saying she wants a fourth child, adding that she’d go through a sperm bank next time around.

Though Kailyn and Javi have had plenty of ups and downs — most notably, when Javi began dating Kail’s Teen Mom 2 co-star Briana DeJesus — though the two have since been in a good place with one another, with him even appearing on her podcast, Coffee Convos, multiple times since he broke up with Bri. Following his breakup with the mother-of-two, Javi has been dating Lauren (at least publicly) since March of this year.

The pair first started dating in summer 2017, about a year after he finalized his divorce from Kailyn, and called it quits only a few months later because of the difficulties of their long distance relationship. Since it would appear that the parents-to-be are still living in separate states (he in Delaware, she in New Hampshire), we’re interested to see how they’ll work it out this time!

Despite the unusual circumstances, Javi has made it clear that he's thrilled about the news of the new addition. "Been kinda quiet lately for many reasons. I was sad I couldn't share the good news because I was afraid of what people would say. The amount of love I've received is so overwhelming and so appreciated," he wrote on Instagram. "I realized no negative comment will take this moment away from us. A baby is a blessing and I am ecstatic for the future. Lincoln is happy, I'm happy, and Lauren is happy. Gonna go on a little hiatus from social media to take all this in and enjoy it with my family and loved ones. For those sending love, thank you! We appreciate it. And to you [Lauren], thank you for blessing me with another child. We are gonna be amazing parents together."
