Moving on. Teen Mom 2 alum Lauren Comeau confirms her split from Javi Marroquin after three years together.

Lauren, 29, broke her silence on their breakup in an emotional Instagram Live on Tuesday, January 19. The Maine native wiped away tears as she confirmed she is a “single mom” who is “stuck in Delaware” amid the fallout of the split.

“I’m never gonna air dirty laundry on the internet. My mama raised me better than that. I do think I deserve to come on here and show some real f–king pain,” Lauren continued. “I’m just here to pick up the pieces with my kid, stuck here with no family or friends.”

Javi, 28, and Lauren were planning to head down the aisle before they called it quits following drama with his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry. The 16 and Pregnant alum, 28, shocked fans when she claimed Javi tried to sleep with her while he was engaged to Lauren on a new episode of Teen Mom 2, which aired on October 13, 2020.

Kailyn alleged Javi tried to make a move on her before they got into a dispute about a pick-up arrangement for their 7-year-old son, Lincoln.

“You’re willing to come to Middletown to f–k me but you won’t come to Middletown to meet me to get your son or even meet me halfway to get your son?” she said to her producer. “Only if it benefits you in a sexual way? Now you’re being disrespectful and I’m going to disrespect the f–k out of you.”

Even though Kailyn publicly apologized to Lauren for dragging her into the mix, the ordeal appeared to upset the mom of one considering she seemingly unfollowed Javi on Instagram amid hookup claims. Lauren later shared cryptic quotes about trust and a “phase ending” in her life, before spending time with family in Maine.

Javi also appeared to sound off on the claims made by Kailyn in a now-deleted comment. “I stopped filming to live my life normally cause I’ve realized my kids’ life when they get older will suffer if I continue to be a part of this TV show,” the father of two wrote. “Not only did my mistakes play out on the show which I’ve had to live (and continue to live with) but I know one day I’d have to explain to my kids all my actions … those episodic checks weren’t worth it to me.”

“So I’m gonna go back to minding my business and living my life with my family and being the absolute best dad I can be,” he continued.

The now-exes previously announced their engagement in June 2019. Javi and Lauren began their relationship in the summer of 2017, and it was off-and-on until they got back together in March 2018 following his breakup from Briana DeJesus. The former flames later welcomed their first child together, Eli, in November 2018.

Now that Javi and Lauren’s wedding is off, fans are hoping they can focus on coparenting their son to the best of their ability.
