Get it, girl! My 600-lb Life fans rallied behind star Janine Mueller, who struggled with her weight all her life. The 53-year-old told her story during Season 6 of the hit TLC reality TV series in which morbidly obese patients document their journey of getting approved for bariatric surgery in order lose weight — and their weight loss is often a life or death matter. But even though Janine continued to struggle with her weight loss even while under the care of renowned weight loss surgeon Dr. Nowzaradan, it seems like she's continuing to do well on her journey and se's been giving fans regular updates on her Facebook page.

"Hi y'all! Yep, I am becoming a Texan! Sorry I have not been very good about updating. To be honest, I was not ready for all the attention I got from the TV show, both good and bad," Janine wrote in her most recent update. "The good news is I am doing well! I am still losing weight and pressing toward my surgery dates. I will get my lymphedema mass removed off my right thigh, I will get my sleeve and there will be a lot more to come!"

Fans flooded the comments section, congratulating Janine on her weight loss, and Janine revealed that she couldn't share too many details because she will start filming her "Where Are They Now?" episode and they will just have to wait until it airs to find out more.

Viewers will remember Janine's struggle as she traveled from Seattle to Houston in order get to her appointment with Dr. Nowzardan, and she opened up about her past and how it shaped her unhealthy relationship with food.

"An adoption agency told my parents that my birth mother was a large woman — therefore I should be closely monitored so that I didn’t turn out the same way," Janine said in her confessional. "My mother — god bless her — took that very much to heart and was waiting for me to get fat, so for my mom, it was like an obsession. She was constantly worried or concerned about my weight all the time."

At the time of her episode, Janine found herself at her heaviest at about 629 pounds. She decided it was time to finally take her life into her own hands and booked a flight to Houston to meet with Dr. Now. Once under his care, he suggested that Janine follow a strict 1200-calorie diet in order to lose 100 pounds before she can qualify for the surgery, but she struggled to control her eating habits. When she returned to Dr. Now's office to track her progress, she found out that she had actually gained weight, so he admitted her into the hospital so that she could be put on a controlled diet.

During her hospital stay, Janine lost 118 pounds but she still struggled with her new diet. Dr. Now approved her for a gastric ballon surgery and when her episode ended, Janine weighed 566 pounds. But since Janine has continued to lose weight and is getting her gastric sleeve surgery soon, she'll be able to shed the weight faster.
