She has concerns. Janelle Brown expressed in an early online premiere of the latest Sister Wives episode that she’s worried her family is no longer as tight-knit as they used to be. “I feel sometimes like I’m the only person in the family that thinks what we had in Lehi, Utah, was awesome,” she said. “The living under one house. It wasn’t Utopia, there are things that definitely we need to change. But the whole idea of living together, I think, was so brilliant. And beautiful.”

“It seems like our family isn’t as close as it used to be,” she added. “And I’m really concerned that if we choose to live in the four homes versus the one, our family culture will just continue to drift apart more and more.”

She was referring to the dream her husband, Kody Brown, has to build one big home for the entire family. Fellow wife Christine Brown is extremely opposed to it, while Robyn Brown and Meri Brown seem to have more mixed feelings.

Janelle also explained that she felt like she was lazier about getting together for family dinners in the cul-de-sac, and with the family all spread out between several homes in Flagstaff, Arizona, she makes more of an effort because the get-togethers have “more meaning.”

“We’re not getting together at all like what we got together when we were living in the cul-de-sac in Las Vegas,” Kody, 51, agreed. But Janelle added that they didn’t get together there even as “organically” as they did when they all lived in one house in Utah — before fourth wife Robyn, 41, entered the picture and before the family made their big first move to Nevada.

Whatever the Browns decide to ultimately do with their property on Coyote Pass, they can at least breathe a little easier now that they’re not paying mortgages on their separate homes back in Vegas. The last home that the family was trying to sell — Christine’s — was listed as sold on September 27, according to Radar Online.

Kody really wants the whole gang under one roof, and Janelle seems to agree. “I want to explore it, all I’m asking for is for you guys to have an open mind and a prayerful disposition about it,” he said in a previous episode of the TLC series.

Do you think the Browns will all end up back together eventually?
