Seriously, WTF Does Jana Duggar Do All Day?
Since Jana Duggar isn’t married — gasp! — fans of TLC’s hit show Counting On are wondering what life is like for the 27-year-old spinster. As it turns out, she’s a midwife — aka someone who assists women with childbirth — which, unfortunately, isn’t so surprising considering she’s one of 19 children.
Back in 2013, the eldest Duggar girl and her sister, Jill Duggar, did a guest blog for TLC, and at the time, Jill was in midwifery school. Meanwhile, Jana wrote that she was “working under a local midwife” and added that she was acting “as a midwife assistant and doula.”
Although Jill went on to get certified as a midwife in 2015, there’s no word on what exactly Jana is doing these days — or if she got certified herself. After all, the reality star kids can’t have social media unless they’re married. Yet Hollywood Gossip points out that her skills are becoming increasingly relevant these days.
Currently, Joy-Anna Duggar is expecting with her hubby, Austin Forsyth, and rumors have been swirling that Jinger Duggar and Jill are pregnant as well! While she may put her skills to the test for her siblings, it sadly seems like Jana is spending most of her days acting as a caregiver to her younger siblings and
w̶i̶s̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶f̶r̶e̶e̶ taking care of the house. She reportedly gardens, cleans, cooks, and is even handy with a hammer and nails! In other words, she’s got it all. Well, except for a relationship.
Don’t worry, Jana. One day your prince — or princess — will come! After all, she may (finally) be courting!
