After six years of marriage, Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa Stelly are headed for a divorce. The former reality TV star took to Instagram on Friday, May 18 to release a joint statement, announcing their split — just three months after they welcomed their third child together.

"Hello! So the news about us separating has probably come as a bit of a shock to everyone. But, we just want to clear the air and share with you what’s going on," the statement read. "So, first and foremost, we absolutely still love each other. Our family is the most important thing in our lives, and we tried everything we could for many years to make this work."

They went on to explain that separation is what's best for their family right now, and they are committed to doing so "lovingly." Jack and Lisa are also committed to being "best friends" and they will continue to raise their children together — six-year-old daughter Pearl, two-year-old son Andy, and three-month-old daughter Minnie. "We are disappointed but feel confident that we will continue to grow our relationship as co-parents and best friends," the statement continued.

Lisa filed for divorce in LA on Friday, and she cited "irreconciable differences" as the reason for the split, according to documents obtained by The Blast. The couple has been separated since May 4 and Lisa asked for joint legal custody of the couple's three kids, and she also asked for spousal support.

Jack, who is the son of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, seems to have an amicable relationship with Lisa. Just last week, he posted a sweet photo of his estranged wife holding their daughter Minnie as a Mother's Day tribute, and fans flooded the comments with messages about their split. "This photo makes the news of your split even more sad," one fan wrote, while another commented, "I’m sad for all of you."
